WIN EURASIA 2020 postponed to 18 – 21 June in Istanbul

Deutsche Messe’s subsidiary in Turkey, Hannover Fairs Turkey Fuarcılık A.Ş., announced today the postponement of WIN EURASIA. The new date is 18–21 June 2020 at the Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Center in Istanbul.

Although there are currently no cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19/Sars-CoV-2) in Turkey, Hannover Fairs Turkey Fuarcılık made the decision to postpone after close consultation with exhibitors, supporting trade associations and visitors.

Airlines have cancelled numerous flights between Turkey, Iran, Italy, and mainland China. In addition, many companies are currently introducing travel and meeting restrictions as well as updating their sick leave regulations. For these reasons, many exhibitors and trade visitors from in- and outside of Turkey requested the postponement, which Turkey’s industrial associations also support.

“The Coronavirus triggered global economic challenges in the first half of the year,” says Alexander Kühnel, general manager of Hannover Fairs Turkey Fuarcılık. “Our new date in June considers the well-being of all participants while also providing a great chance for companies to generate business for the second half of the year.”
