Van Tongeren America unveils jet fabric filter dust collection system

Process equipment manufacturer, Van Tongeren America, has unveiled a dust collection system that is proven to remove more than 99% of particulates from an airstream. This meets environmental emissions standards.

The dust collection system features a proprietary design that controls airflow direction through the baghouse. The system sets the gas entry inlet near the top of the pulse jet collector, directing a portion of the particulates into the hopper below before contact with the filter bags.

With the system, dust load on the bags is reduced, their service life is extended, and downtime for maintenance is minimized. A smaller unit on a more compact footprint can be specified than with traditional baghouse systems.

The collector has been developed to provide the final cleanup step in dry particulate screening and classifying systems. The system is able to capture fine particles from processing aggregates, manufactured sand, cement, lime, salt, fertilizer, and a variety of other materials at a wide range of temperatures. The modular system comes in a range of nine different standard sizes, as well as custom sizes to match the proper amount of filter bags and cloth area with the airflow rate and dust load.
