Unimec does not stop: production exceeds pre-crisis levels with custom products and unique solutions
In the last 18 months, the entire world was faced with multiple health crises, causing a plethora of preventative norms and restrictions that had a severe impact on the production capacity of many companies.
Fortunately, Unimec was not only able to successfully navigate through the maze of ever-changing directives, but took this opportunity to expand the staff and strengthen its productivity.
Particularly in the first 2 quarters of 2021 our production effort was monumental; this is also directly reflected by our total revenues for the first half of the year, exceeding pre-crisis levels.
Especially in these delicate and uncertain times we did our very best to remain close to our Customers and help them with particularly complex and challenging applications.
Amongst these challenging projects there is one involving a large number of Size 14014 trapezoidal screw jacks with 140 mm spindles and weighing over 1 ton each!
These screw jacks are truly unique and one-of-a-kind products requiring extremely advanced technical knowledge, state-of-the-art machinery and infrastructures and ultimately outstanding production capacity.
The ability to design and manufacture these unique products is also the result of a strong co-engineering activity between Unimec and the Customer’s technical departments
, which has always been a cornerstone of our business model.
