AEMOT Completes Factory Testing of 1250 kW MV Motors for ISKI

AEMOT Electric Motors & Generators has completed the Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) of eight 1250 kW, 6.3 kV, 50 Hz medium-voltage motors manufactured for the ISKI Kağıthane Pumping Station project.

According to the company’s announcement, the testing process was carried out in coordination with İSKİ and project partner Vek Verimli Endüstriyel Komponentler.

Full-Load Testing at Rated Power

All eight motors were tested under identical operating conditions, and full-load performance data were recorded at the rated output of 1250 kW. Factory Acceptance Tests are a critical stage in medium-voltage motor projects, particularly in water and wastewater infrastructure applications where operational reliability and energy continuity are essential.

Medium-voltage motors used in pumping stations such as Kağıthane play a key role in ensuring stable system performance, efficiency, and long-term operational security.

Application in Water Infrastructure

The Kağıthane Pumping Station is part of Istanbul’s water infrastructure network. Projects of this scale require high-power electric drive solutions capable of continuous operation under demanding load conditions.

Based on information available on its website, AEMOT manufactures low- and medium-voltage electric motors and generators for industrial and infrastructure applications. The successful completion of FAT for 1250 kW-class motors represents a reference project in the medium-voltage segment.
